CFMS frequently makes out-of-court settlements. However, we do not practice law. Rather, we provide an alternative to the “standard” methods of handling disputes between businesses and their creditors.

We reduced a client’s obligation to a leasing company from over $100,000 to $30,000 and persuaded the leasing company to accept payments over 18 months.

Another client owed an equipment supplier $70,000. We were able to negotiate a settlement of $24,000 payable over a year.

Still yet another client owed IRS almost $100,000; we were able to negotiate a settlement of $40,000 with payments extended over 30 months.

One of our smaller clients owed his principal supplier almost $25,000; the supplier accepted our proposal of 11,000 to be paid over a year while the supplier continued to ship goods to our client!!

A State taxing authority was seeking to collect $55,000 in trust fund taxes from another client; they settled for $15,000 in an agreement drafted by us.
